Steven Wilcox CAP®, CFP®, ChFC®, CFS
Steve makes community service a professional and personal priority. A lifetime subscriber in the theory of abundance, he believes all individuals and organizations benefit from giving back to the community. Steve has served on many non-profit boards throughout the community, and is a past president of his rotary club and Leadership San Ramon Valley. As a partner at Summit Financial Group, LLC, he was instrumental in forming the Summit Charity Golf Tournament which raises money for a deserving local charity each year. Through that process, and with the hope that the spirit of Summit giving will live on for generations to come, he and business partner Nathan Bennett created the Summit Financial Foundation. Steve lives in Danville and has three children: Christopher, Shelby, and Colton.
Nathan Bennett CFP®, CBEC®, ChFC®, CLU®,
Nathan believes it is an honor and privilege to make a difference in the community his friends and family call home. As a partner at Summit Financial Group, he and business partner Steve Wilcox have long believed that company success should provide the ability to give back and make a difference. It is exciting to see that work coming to fruition in the form of the Summit Financial Foundation.
In addition to work, family, and the Summit Foundation, Nathan serves on the board of Rooms of Hope, is a coach for youth sports, and mentors young professionals. Nathan and his family live, play, and, on occasion, get to relax in Pleasanton.

Philanthropy is hard coded into Laurie’s DNA. Starting at an early age she volunteered, alongside her family, in her church and community. She has a heart for those living with food insecurity and has spearheaded many local food drives through churches and schools for food banks in Washington, Ohio and the Bay Area. She was a literacy volunteer through the San Francisco Library and served at Mathew 25 Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization, in Ohio. Laurie is honored to now serve on the Summit Foundation Board.
