If you would like to nominate a local non-profit to be considered for a grant, fill out the form below. All nominations must be anonymous and will be reviewed by Summit Financial Foundation.
All nonprofit organizations wishing to apply for a grant must be invited by the Summit Financial Foundation. No unsolicited requests will be accepted. You may anonymously nominate a charity for consideration by filling in the form above.
Organizations that are not tax exempt under paragraph 501(C)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
The Summit Financial Foundation will not fund organizations that discriminate against certain groups or individuals in the delivery of programs and service based on race, religion, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation or disability.
Organizations that will re-grant the foundation’s gifts to other organizations or individuals, i.e. endowment campaigns or private foundations.
Public or private primary or secondary schools.
Athletic events or teams, bands and choirs, recreational programs, theater arts or performance arts programs or equipment.
Individuals for any purpose.
Lobbying activities or other political purposes.
Fund-raising events such as walk-a-thons, telethons, dinners, balls, or other ticketed events.
Religious organizations, unless they are engaged in programs that are non-sectarian, benefit a broad base of the community, and have a separate 501(c)(3) designation.
We generally do not fund national organizations, unless the applicant is a local branch or chapter providing direct services to our community.
